Hi, I'm Mara.
I started Market Lane Paper Co. because I couldn’t find planners that felt both beautiful and genuinely useful \u2014 tools that fit the texture of an actual day, not an aspirational one.
Every template here is designed at my kitchen table, tested in my own home, and refined with feedback from real customers. Nothing ships until it works.

HOW IT STARTED
From one Sunday sheet to a full shop
2019
The Sunday problem
I kept spending Sunday evenings feeling vaguely anxious \u2014 not because anything was wrong, but because everything was scattered. Meals, appointments, the kids’ schedule, my own work. I started making a simple weekly reset sheet for myself. Just a page. It helped immediately.
2020
Friends started asking
I printed copies for a few friends. Then their friends asked. I realised I wasn’t the only one who needed a simple, well-designed place to put the week. I started making more pages \u2014 a meal planner, a habit tracker, a family command centre.
2021
The first market stall
I printed a small run and took a table at the local makers’ market. I sold out in two hours. Not because the pages were extraordinary \u2014 but because people recognised the problem they solved. That afternoon, Market Lane Paper Co. became a real thing.
2022
Going digital
Moving to digital downloads changed everything. No print runs, no shipping, no minimum orders. Someone in another country could find the Sunday Reset Planner on a Tuesday afternoon and be using it by Tuesday evening. That felt right.
Now
13 products and growing
The shop now has 13 products across four collections \u2014 home planning, learning resources, creative business tools, and seasonal celebrations. Every one started as something I needed myself, or something a customer asked for that I couldn’t stop thinking about.
